ORF photo report on the everyday life of refugees in the Kurdistan Region

A photo report of Austrian ORF portays the situation of many refugees in the Kurdistan Region-Iraq:
Having fled from the terror militia Islamic State (IS), more than one million people found refuge in the autonomous Kurdistan Region. Despite bordering an area which is under siege by the jihadists, the northern Iraqi region still constitutes a safe haven. Those who fled from IS terrorists can feel safe – but for an unforeseeable time will have to experience a dull daily life.
