It is with consternation that we have learned about the passing of the great Austrian musician and humanist Willi Resetarits. We commemorate him and his engagement toward social justice and altruism with great sadness. For this and so much more will he be remembered well beyond Austria.
He was also a great friend to us Kurds, his perfomances with Sivan Perwer will indeed never be forgotten. In this troubled times, we would like to express our deepest condolences to his family, his friends and his colleagues.
In perpetual memory of his guiding principle: Be a Mensch!
